Anime about ASMR gets preview and release date

The ASMR anime Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei ASMR (My Life After I Became a Dummy Head Microphone One Morning) got a preview highlighting the ending theme song and premiere date for October 12th.

Tomokazu Sugita narrates the video as Ore-kun , who has been reincarnated as a microphone dummy head. Furthermore, the video reveals the song “Katachi ni Dekinai Monologue” (A monologue that defies convention) by singer KOTOKO.

Synopsis

The slapstick comedy revolves around a protagonist who has been reincarnated into a dummy head microphone (a microphone embedded in a fake human head to faithfully record the auditory environment). This microphone is used by Yuri and other high school girls in an ASMR club, who have their eyes on the “ASMR Koushien” high school championships. (ASMR or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response is the tingling or relaxing sensation you get in response to stimuli such as certain sounds or sights.)

Staff

Director Yoshinobu Kasai ( 180-byou de Kimi no Mimi wo Shiawase ni Dekiru ka? ) returns to studios INDIVISION and EKACHI EPILKA after working on another ASMR-themed anime project. Above all, the anime has original healing designs (light novel artist Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi) adapted for animation by Midori Otsuka (animation director Slow Loop ). In short, the story will follow a high school girls ASMR club targeting “ASMR Koushien” and a reincarnated microphone caught in the middle.

Finally, the anime was originally announced as Yuri no Aida ni Hasamareru. Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei (Caught Between a Yuri Relationship. My Life After I Became a Dummy Head Microphone One Morning), but the staff decided to shorten the title.
