Kadokawa has released the second promotional video and a new poster for the anime Villainess Level 99 (Akuyaku Reijō Level 99: Watashi wa Ura Boss Desu ga Maō dewa Arimasen).
The video announces the anime's theme songs and previews the opening theme. The staff also announced more cast and crew members, as well as confirming the anime's premiere for January 9th .

Mayu Maeshima performs the opening theme song “LOVE or HATE?” The characters Eleonora Hillrose and Yumiella Dolkness (voiced by Rina Hidaka and Fairouz Ai, respectively) perform the ending theme song “Suki ga Rebechi”.
In addition to performing the ending theme song, Hidaka joins the cast as the character Eleonora Hillrose (who is seen and heard at the end of the video above).

Synopsis
The story revolves around Eumiella Dolkness, the daughter of a nobleman who was born with black hair and has suffered prejudice since childhood because of it. To make matters worse, she is also the reincarnation of a Japanese woman who played the game in her past life. Uninterested in romance and realizing she was reincarnated as a secret boss who should be more powerful than the Demon King, Eumiella decides to dedicate her childhood to training her shadow magic and becoming strong enough to surprise everyone in the end. However, her plans to remain a secret are shattered when she arrives at the magic academy and her level 99 status is revealed, drawing attention not only to her appearance but also to her extraordinary abilities.
Thus, the light novel, written by Tanabata and illustrated by Satori & Nokomi, has been published by Kadokawa since February 2020. Finally, the third volume of the manga was published by BsLogComics on February 1st of this year.
