The sci-fi anime manga “EX-ARM” by HiRock and Shinya Komi is expected to begin airing in summer 2020.
The anime's story is set in 2014 and tells the story of Akira Natsume , who, after being saved from a tragic traffic accident, has her brain recovered and become part of an advanced weapon. She then collaborates with the police's EX-ARM countermeasures division to recover her memories and body.
With illustrations by Shinya Komi and story by HiRock , the manga began to be released in February 2015 in Grand Jump as a remake of the work EX-VITA .
Finally, in December 2017, the work was transferred to Shonen Jump+.
