Crunchyroll original anime EX-ARM, inspired by the manga of the same name by author HiRock and illustrated by Shinya Komi, premieres in January 2021.
EX-ARM was previously scheduled to premiere in September (fall) 2020, but was postponed due to Covid-19 .
Synopsis
The story centers on high school student Akira Natsume. Her brain is salvaged after a traffic accident, becoming part of an advanced weapon. Akira collaborates with the EX-ARM division, which works to recover her lost memories and body.

Furthermore, HiRock and Komi launched the manga in Shueisha in February 2015 as a remake of their previous manga EX-VITA.
Finally, Komi launched the spinoff EX-ARM Another Code , a manga adaptation of Ataro Kumo's EX-ARM novel in Shueisha 's Ultra Jump on February 19.
