The AnimeNew team will be covering Anime Friends , participating in the 2023 edition. Our team will be at the event from the 14th to the 16th in São Paulo 's Anhembi District . Anime Friends 2023 – 20th Anniversary Event Special

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Anime Friends 2023 has scheduled a program featuring several international and national artists, as well as games for the public. The event begins on Thursday (July 13th) and runs through Sunday (July 16th). Additionally, the event features cosplay, music, and dance competitions, as well as an Artist's Alley for artists to showcase their work.
Friday (July 14th)
The main stage will feature performances by the band Wasabi, rapper Vmz, and several international singers from the anime , including Asca, Who-ya Extended, Sennarin, Nano, and Akino with the band bless4. Meanwhile, the cosplay zone stage will feature violinist Yurika. The ultra auditorium will feature special panels titled "Feminine Power in Tokusatsu" and "The Tokusatsu Triforce." Finally, voice actors Fernando Mendonça and Lucas Gama will also have a panel to discuss dubbing for the anime "Given."
Saturday (15/07)
Senpai Old School, Yuyu20, DJ Sidney Scaccio, Real Akira Boys, Survive Said the Prophet, and Burnout Syndromes will perform on the main stage. Panini Comics will be featured on the cosplay zone stage. The ultra authorship stage will feature more panels on the world of tokusatsu, featuring Brazilian voice actors and the series' own Japanese actors. Next, Wendel Bezerra will also perform on this stage. Finally, the K-POP arena will feature the Maru Dance Challenge solo and NoraePOP competitions.
Sunday (16/07)
On the final day, the main stage will feature performances by international bands SCANDAL and FLOW. Publisher New Pop will be featured on the cosplay zone stage. In addition to providing more information on Tokusatsu, the ultra auditorium will feature a panel on One Piece dubbing and a performance by voice actor Guilherme Briggs. Finally, the K-POP arena will feature Maru Dance Challenge group competitions.
