The AnimeNew team will cover Anime Friends , participating in the 2023 edition. So our team will be present at the event from the 14th to the 16th in the Anhembi District of São Paulo . To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Anime Friends 2023 has scheduled a program with several international and national artists and games for the public. The event starts on Thursday (July 13th) and runs until Sunday (July 16th). In addition, the event features cosplay, music, dance competitions and Artist's Alley for various artists to promote their work.
Friday (14/07)
The main stage will feature performances by the band Wasabi, Rapper Vmz, and several international singers from the world of anime such as Asca, Who-ya Extended, Sennarin, Nano and Akino with the band bless4. Meanwhile, the cosplay zone stage features violinist Yurika. The ultra auditorium will have special panels called Feminine Power in Tokusatsus and the Triforce of Tokusatsus. Finally, the voice actor couple Fernando Mendonça and Lucas Gama will also have a panel to talk about dubbing the anime Given.
Saturday (15/07)
Senpai Old School, Yuyu20, DJ Sidney Scaccio, Real Akira Boys, Survive Said the Prophet and Burnout Syndromes will perform on the main stage. Panini Comics will have a participation in the cosplay zone stage. The ultra authorship stage will have more panels about the Tokusatsu world with Brazilian voice actors and the series' own Japanese actors. Next, Wendel Bezerra will also have a performance on this stage. Finally, the K-POP arena will have solo Maru Dance Challenge and NoraePOP competitions.
Sunday (16/07)
On the last day, the main stage will feature performances by international bands SCANDAL and FLOW. The publisher New Pop will participate in the cosplay zone stage. In addition to bringing more about Tokusatsus, the ultra auditorium will have a panel on One Piece dubbing and a presentation by voice actor Guilherme Briggs. Lastly, the K-POP arena will feature Maru Dance Challenge group competitions.
