AnimeNew will be present at this year's edition of Anime Friends . The team will be at the event in São Paulo this Saturday, 9th, and Sunday, 10th. Anime Friends has several attractions and themed spaces, as well as shows, cosplay contests and anime .
The event began this Friday, the 8th, at the Anhembi Pavilion, in the city of São Paulo. But, on the 16th and 17th of July there will also be an edition in Rio de Janeiro, at EXPO MAG .
This Saturday, activities start at 11am. The main stage features attractions such as the band Senpai Old School and singer Matsuko Mawatari, who performs the original songs of Yu Yu Hakusho. The anime stage features panels on musical anime and Asian works, followed by the participation of publishers NewPOP and JBC. Meanwhile, the ultra auditorium features anime screenings and the presence of actors Takumi Tsutsui, from Jiraiya, and Hiroshi Watari, also famous for tokusatsu series. But they are not the only ones: voice actor Guilherme Briggs completes the ultra auditorium team. Finally, in the K-pop arena there is a dance workshop, gymkhana and a singing competition.
On Sunday, the main stage features the bands Gaijin Sentai, the groups Babybeard and ONE N' ONLY, among others. The anime stage features panels, a cosplay contest and the participation of the publisher Pipoca & Nanquim. While the ultra auditorium features Wendel Bezerra and voice actors from Attack on Titan, the k-pop arena hosts activities such as Random Play Dance and Maru Dance Challenge.
