AnimeNew will be present at this year's Anime Friends . anime screenings .
The event began this Friday, the 8th, at the Anhembi Pavilion in São Paulo. However, there will also be an edition in Rio de Janeiro on July 16th and 17th, at EXPO MAG .
This Saturday, activities begin at 11 am. The main stage features attractions such as the band Senpai Old School and singer Matsuko Mawatari, who performs original songs from Yu Yu Hakusho. The anime stage features panels on musical anime and Asian works, followed by participation from the publishers NewPOP and JBC. Meanwhile, the ultra auditorium offers anime screenings and the presence of actors Takumi Tsutsui, from Jiraiya, and Hiroshi Watari, also famous for tokusatsu series. But they are not the only ones: voice actor Guilherme Briggs completes the ultra auditorium team. Finally, in the K-pop arena there is a dance workshop, a scavenger hunt, and a singing contest.
On Sunday, the main stage features the bands Gaijin Sentai, the groups Babybeard and ONE N' ONLY, among others. The anime stage, in turn, offers panels, a cosplay contest, and the participation of the publisher Pipoca & Nanquim. While the ultra auditorium presents Wendel Bezerra and voice actors from Attack on Titan, the k-pop arena hosts activities such as Random Play Dance and the Maru Dance Challenge.
