Based on the visual novel, ISLAND has received a new promotional trailer featuring the opening theme song "Eien no Hitotsu" (Eternal One) by Yukari Tamura. All animation is by Feel (Dagashi Kashi), direction is by Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Frame Arms Girl) and character designs by Kōsuke Kawamura (Frame Arms Girl, OniAi).

Island had a game released for PC in 2016 and later for PS Vita and Android, in the same year it gained a manga adaptation.
The story takes place on the island of Urashima, where three great families have suffered a series of events. The islanders have cut off all contact with the mainland and have begun a slow decline. The key to saving the island lies with three girls belonging to the three families. But they are bound by ancient traditions and are in conflict. On this island, a lone man washes ashore. The man claims to be from the future and begins a solitary struggle to change the island's fate.
