The plot follows Hayato , a boy who dreamed of reuniting with his childhood friend after seven years. However, when he transfers to a school in the city, he discovers that his "friend" was actually a girl —and now one of the prettiest in the school.
Childhood, reunions and unexpected feelings
During a summer in the countryside, Hayato and Haruki exchanged a special promise. Today, the class considers Haruki the "unreachable flower" of the group. But when he's alone with Hayato, he returns to his childhood self, bringing back dormant memories and feelings.
The anime explores the differences between city and country, the contrast between boys and girls, and the changes of adolescence. While some things change over time, others—like promises and bonds from the past—remain intact.
The series adapts the light novel series written by Hibari Yu and illustrated by Shiso , published by Kadokawa. The television adaptation is being produced in partnership with the studio Asmik Ace.
