The official website for the To Your Eternity inspired by the manga by Yoshitoki Oima ( Koe no Katachi ), revealed the primary cast and staff, and also announced that it will premiere in October of this year.
The anime, produced by Brains Base, will be directed by Masahiko Murata, with compositions by Shinzo Fujita and character designs by Koji Yabino.
Synopsis
The epic saga of an immortal hero seeking to understand what it means to be alive…
Initially, an "orb" is thrown towards Earth.
"It" can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates "it," and return to the afterlife. "It" transforms from an orb to a rock, then to a wolf, and finally to a boy, but wanders around like a newborn who knows nothing.
As a boy, "it" becomes FUSHI.
As Fushi experiences the kindness of humans, he not only gains survival skills but also grows as a person. But his journey is interrupted by the inexplicable and destructive enemy NOKKER, as well as the cruel farewells with the people he loves. Fushi continues his eternal quest, grappling with the pain of living as someone who has the courage to choose his own path.
