Jujutsu Kaisen is the biggest winner in history

Jujutsu Kaisen has surpassed the two-dozen awards mark, solidifying its position as the awards' top honor. In 2024 alone, it won 11 trophies, including Anime of the Year, Best Direction, Character Design, and Best Opening. The second season, produced by MAPPA, was recognized for its technical and narrative excellence.

The character Satoru Gojo earned wins in the categories of Best Supporting Character and voice performances in Japanese, French, and Portuguese. The awards recognized the closing theme song "Akari," which reinforced the production's audiovisual impact. In 2023, the jury chose the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as Best Film, highlighting its performances in German, European Spanish, and Italian.

Demon Slayer remains a crowd favorite

With 20 awards under its belt, Demon Slayer remains one of the most acclaimed anime today. In 2024, the Blacksmith's Village arc won Best Animation, Art Direction, and Fantasy Anime. Studio Ufotable earned recognition for its striking visuals and detailed world-building.

The previous season, which aired in 2023, earned four other wins, including Best Director, Best Action Anime, and Best Performance in Latin Spanish. The refined visuals of the Entertainment District arc also earned awards for designer Akira Matsushima.

Attack on Titan closes the awards podium

Third in the rankings, Attack on Titan has won 16 awards at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. In 2024, it won in the Best Soundtrack category for "The Final Chapters Special 1 ," produced by MAPPA. The music remains one of the series' strengths.
