The adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables ( by Anne Shirley ) has released a new trailer confirming its release date. The series will consist of 24 episodes.

Anne Shirley series will premiere on April 5, 2025, with animation by The Answer Studio (Tower of God 2).
Synopsis of Anne of Green Gables
Anne Shirley is a charming young girl who grew up in an orphanage. By mistake, she is sent to live with Miss Marilla Cuthbert and Mr. Matt Cuthbert, who had initially requested the adoption of a boy. Surprised by Anne's arrival, Marilla gradually discovers the girl's sad past. However, over time, Anne wins her place and becomes an indispensable part of the Cuthbert family.
Anne of Green Gables is a Japanese animated series that ranks fifth in Nippon Animation's renowned World Masterpiece Theater , widely known by different names over the years. The production adapts the classic novel written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. In 1979, Nippon Animation produced the series and originally broadcast it on Fuji TV from January 7 to December 30 of the same year.
In the end, the creators released a total of 50 episodes, solidifying the title as a landmark work from the studio.
