Synopsis
Anne Shirley is a charming young woman who grew up in an orphanage. Anne of Green Gables is a Japanese animated series that ranks fifth in Nippon Animation's renowned World Masterpiece Theater , widely recognized by various titles over the years. The series is an adaptation of the classic novel Anne of Green Gables , written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. In 1979, Nippon Animation produced the series and originally broadcast it on Fuji TV from January 7 to December 30 of that year.
