Furthermore, the episode features a moment of self-acceptance for Anne, in which she recognizes that her red hair is part of who she is and finally accepts it. However, for this to happen, she goes through a situation that deeply upsets her.
Anne Shirley demonstrates her skill in storytelling
At the beginning of the episode, Anne faces a dilemma while trying to write a romance story. She needs someone to recount an engagement experience so she can include it in her narrative. However, no response seems satisfactory, and Anne decides to create the perfect proposal using her imagination.
Besides Anne's creativity, another point stands out. In episode 6, winter shows its beauty, and the trees, covered by a thick layer of snow, make the animation even more beautiful. There are also the winter costumes of the characters, which have an elegant and charming design, which, in my opinion, makes the episode one of the most visually beautiful.

Upon finishing the story, the protagonist is praised by her classmates, as the narrative combines romance, rivalries, and ultimately, tragedy. Anne's friends are impressed by the girl's creativity and skill, and therefore ask her to teach them how to write a good short story.

Thus, the storytelling club is created. Anne, who helps her friends with writing and creativity, soon reveals an aptitude for encouraging and inspiring people. Finally, the teacher shows pride in Anne for helping her classmates and praises her during class, an act that leaves the protagonist radiant.
Anne decides to embrace the red tone of her hair
From the very first episode, Anne states that she doesn't like her red hair. Because of this, she decides to dye it brown. However, the dye job goes wrong, and the protagonist's hair turns green. The girl is deeply upset and realizes that, after all, her red hair wasn't as bad as she thought. The elements of the scene reflect Anne's mood, as the thunder and somber atmosphere seem to mirror what the girl feels when she sees the result of the dye on her hair.

Unable to remove the green dye, Anne allows Marilla to cut her hair very short, leaving only the red visible. When Anne arrives at school, Josie, one of her classmates, teases her, saying she looks like a scarecrow. The protagonist struggles not to be shaken by the comment and, determined, resolves to accept her red hair as it is. This attitude makes her feel more confident about her appearance.
Anne is an admirable character. She always tries to maintain a good sense of humor and see the positive side of things. Initially, she is very upset about the green color of her hair and even more frustrated by having to cut it. However, she views the situation as a learning experience and understands that there are worse things than her red hair. In this way, instead of being upset until her hair grows back, the protagonist reflects on her actions and accepts what happened, since, at the moment, there is nothing she can do to change the situation.

Anne Shirley's work is a constant learning experience
With each episode, Anne seems to mature a little more, and we, the viewers, follow her journey and also learn important values and life lessons. Anne Shirley , an adaptation of Anne of Green Gables , follows the childhood, youth, and adulthood of the character Anne, a charismatic and creative girl who easily wins over the people around her.

What's fascinating about the work is that we gradually discover that we all have a little bit of Anne Shirley in us. We all have a curious, imaginative side, capable of seeing beauty in the little things of our daily lives; we just need to give it space. Furthermore, there's an interesting point in the episode titles. They relate to Anne's thoughts, phrases she said, or lessons she learned, such as episode 6, titled: I thought nothing could be as bad as red hair.
In the next episode, Anne has a boating accident while trying to impersonate Lady Elaine. Gilbert, who is fishing nearby, manages to help her at the last minute. Also, there's a rumor about Professor Stacy transferring to another school. Check out the preview for episode 7:
