Kadokawa Fujimi Shobo Toki Yanagimi 's manga , AntiMagic Academy "35th Test Platoon," is in development for an anime adaptation.
Yanagimi launched the light novel series, with illustrations by Kippu (No-Rin), in 2012, and Fujimi Shobo's Fantasia Bunko imprint will publish the seventh volume on April 19th. Sutarō Hanao has already adapted the story into a manga series published by Fujimi Shobo in Dragon Age magazine. In 2012, Fujimi Shobo released a TV commercial for the second volume of the novel.
Synopsis – This school action fantasy is set in a world where people with magical powers are close to being exterminated. Just as the balance of power and military might had already shifted from swords to sorcery, it shifts weapons once again. Takeru Kusanagi goes to “AntiMagic Academy,” a training center for inquisitors of Heretics who seek to suppress the threat posed by the dwindling number of magic users.
