Kadokawa Fujimi Shobo Toki Yanagimi 's manga "35th Test Platoon" is in the works for an anime adaptation.
Yanagimi released the novel through Light Novel, with illustrations by Kippu (No-Rin) in 2012, and Fantasia Bunko and Fujimi Shobo will publish the seventh volume on April 19th. Sutarō Hanao has already adapted the story into a manga series that Fujimi Shobo released in Dragon Age magazine, in 2012 Fujimi Shobo released a TV commercial for the second volume of the novel.
Synopsis – The high school action fantasy is set in a world where people with magical powers are close to being exterminated. Just as the balance of power and military might had already shifted from swords to sorcery, it shifts once again to weapons. Takeru Kusanagi goes to "AntiMagic Academy", a training center for inquisitors of Herectics who quell the threat posed by dwindling magic users.
