After several rumors, fans received confirmation on social media of the second season of the anime Ao Ashi . The information arrived on the cover of Weekly Big Comic Spirits .
Synopsis To Ashi:
Aoashi follows the journey of Ashito Aoi, a third-year elementary school student in Ehime City who dreams of excelling in soccer. Despite his natural talent, Ashito is impulsive and struggles with teamwork. Everything changes when he crosses paths with Tatsuya Fukuda, an experienced coach who sees potential in the boy and invites him to join his sports project. This opportunity could be a turning point in Ashito's life—and perhaps also in the future of Japanese soccer.
The series is written and illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi and based on a concept by Naohiko Ueno. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine, Weekly Big Comic Spirits, since January 2015. Finally, the first season of the anime was produced by Production I.G. and premiered in April 2022.
