
The official website for the Ao Haru Ride , an adaptation of Io Sakisaka , has begun streaming the second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 7th.
Io Sakisaka began publishing Ao Haru Ride in Betsuma in 2011, and Shueisha will be selling the new compiled volume this month in Japan, which will include a DVD. The manga is touted by the magazine as the successor to Kimi ni Todoke and is on the list of the top 20 shoujo manga recommended by professionals in the manga publishing industry. The author also created Strobe Edge, which is being published by VIZ in North America.
Synopsis – Yoshioka Futaba has a few reasons why she wants to “reset” her image and life as a high school student. Because she’s cute, she was isolated by her friends in middle school, and because of a misunderstanding, she couldn’t have her feelings reciprocated by the only boy she ever liked, Tanaka-kun .
