A new extended commercial for the Ao Haru Ride adaptation of the manga by author Io Sakisaka has been released. The video features 's opening theme , “ Sekai wa Koi ni Ochiteiru ” ( (The World is Falling in Love) by the group HoneyWorks . The premiere takes place on July 7th.
Io Sakisaka began producing Ao Haru Ride for Betsuma in 2011, and Sueisha will be selling the new compiled volume this month in Japan that will bundle a DVD. The manga is named by the magazine as the successor to Kimi ni Todoke and is on the list of the 20 best shoujo mangas nominated by professionals in the manga publishing field. The author has also made Strobe Edge, which is being released by VIZ in North America.
The story revolves around Yoshioka Futaba who has some reasons why she wants to “reboot” her image and life as a high school student. Because she's cute, she was isolated by her friends in elementary school, and because of a misunderstanding, she couldn't get her feelings reciprocated by the only boy she ever liked, Tanaka-kun .
