Ao no Miburo: Part 2 gets trailer and release date

The anime Ao no Miburo ( The Blue Wolves of Mibu ) has received a new trailer and promotional image for part 2 (Arc: Chi no Risshidan) of the series.

The premiere of part 2 of the anime Ao no Miburo (The Blue Wolves of Mibu) takes place on January 11, 2025 with episode 13. Therefore, the animation is by the studio Maho Film.

Synopsis Ao no Miburo

Even though Nio is an orphan, he can't help but dream of a better world. In this thrilling action story, he meets two men who show how a few swords can change history. This high-octane samurai series from the acclaimed creator of DAYS shares its setting with Rurouni Kenshin and chronicles the founding of the Shinsengumi by handsome, volatile men who fight for justice… and for themselves!

Yasuda finally launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2021. Its first part concluded in April 2024 and the second part, Shinsengumi Arc , started in the same month.
