NHK announced on Wednesday that the anime Ao no Orchestra (Blue Orchestra), a work by Makoto Akui, will premiere on April 9 .

Synopsis
During his elementary school years, Hajime Aono was considered a prodigy violist, however, he suddenly grew tired of music and stopped playing for personal reasons. Before he enters high school, he meets Ritsuko Akine, an energetic violist who tells him about a prestigious school orchestra.
As such, Akui launched the ongoing manga on Shogakukan 's Manga ONE in 2017.
