Aoashi – Anime premieres on April 9th

anime adaptation of Yuugo Kobayashi 's manga Aoashi revealed that it will premiere on NHK Educational on April 9th, airing Saturdays at 6:25 PM. The website also revealed a new image and two more voice actors: Shunsuke Takeuchi will voice Nagisa Akutsu and Yuichiro Umehara will voice Haruhisa Kuribayashi.

Synopsis

Ashito Aoi, a third-year high school student from Ehime, meets Fukuda Tatsuya, a coach in the "J Youth League." Despite his strong personality, Ashito possesses incredible potential, leading Coach Fukuda to invite him to try out for his team in Tokyo. The story of the boy who will revolutionize football in Japan is about to begin.

Aoashi's manga launched in Shogakukan 's Big Comic Spirits in January 2015. The publisher released the 23rd volume on February 26th.
