Shonengahosha 's Young King Ours magazine is announcing that the anime Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) will have two films, the first being a compilation of episodes from the first season, while the second film will continue the story.
There's no release date for either debut, reuniting the team that worked on last year 's series . Seiji Kishi will direct with SANZIGEN Animation , and Makoto Uezu will be in charge of the scripts. Masato Koda will once again compose the music.
In the story, humanity lost much of its developed territory due to global warming in the first half of the 21st century. Then, the "Fleet of Fog," loaded with superweapons, appeared around the world. Unable to resist this fleet, humanity was defeated and could no longer travel the seas. 17 years after the devastating naval war, Gunzo Chihaya and his friends somehow command the "Fleet of Fog."
