Aria the Scarlet Ammo will have a new anime

My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Aria the Scarlet Ammo (Hidan no Aria) franchise short-form anime Kadokawa , which confirmed the commemorative production but has not yet revealed details such as the team, premiere date, or full format of the project.

The original work, created by Chugaku Akamatsu , premiered as an anime in 2011. The series blends action and comedy in a world where students train as armed detectives. The adaptation was streamed at the time by Funimation and also released on Blu-ray.

In addition to the main series, the universe received the spin-off Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double A , based on the manga by Shogako Tachibana. The anime adaptation arrived in 2015 with 12 episodes, expanding the story with new characters and focusing on other protagonists.

The original light novel is still ongoing and recently reached its 45th volume, published by Kadokawa. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Yoshino Koyoka Monthly Comic Alive magazine since 2009 and has over 25 volumes released.
