Amazon and Animate 's online stores in Japan have put on sale a limited edition of the fifth volume of Arslan Senki , a work by Yoshiki Tanaka and Hiromu Arakawa , which consists of a DVD. Amazon has also set the release date for this volume for May 9, 2016.
The "Honya Club" store claims that Arakawa is personally supervising this "Original DVD," which will tell "another comedic story" set in the midst of war. In the story, Gieve teaches Arslan about love and romance from Daryun, Narsus, and "the hero" is also revealed.
Neither store confirms that this DVD contains animated scenes , so we will have to wait for confirmation.
