Anime adaptations of light novels are nothing new, but it has been announced that the novel Ascendance of a Bookworm : Stop at Nothing to be a Librarian by author Miya Kazuki will be adapted into an anime .
The news has arrived, however: the anime will be animated by Ajia-dou (Nintama Rantaro, Kujibiki Unbalance), directed by Mitsuru Hongo (World Trigger), and the story is by Mariko Kunisawa.
In the light novel Motosu Urano , a student and book lover has just obtained her librarian certification. However, her dream ended when she was killed during a severe earthquake that crushed her onto a pile of books.
Wishing for reincarnation so she could read more, Uranus reincarnated as the five-year-old daughter of a humble soldier in a world with a low level of literacy and very few books, limited only to the world's nobility.
More news about this adaptation will be coming soon.
