Synopsis:

The protagonist, Oda Akira, is a typical young man who goes unnoticed by everyone. However, his discretion becomes an advantage when he and his class are transported to a fantasy world. While his classmates take on heroic roles, Akira stands out as a skilled assassin. With surprisingly high starting stats and a series of mysteries surrounding him, he soon realizes something is very wrong. While investigating royal secrets, he ends up crossing paths with the very king who brought him to this world and uncovers a dark conspiracy. With the help of Amelia, an elven medium, Akira embarks on a perilous journey to unravel the truth and seek revenge.

The light novel was originally serialized by Matsuri Akai on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2017. In November of that year, OVERLAP published the first print volume, with illustrations by Tōzai. The story continues, with the fourth volume released in February 2021.

Additionally, the manga adaptation, illustrated by Aigamo, began publication on Comic Gardo in July 2018. It's worth noting that the work was paused in 2020 due to Aigamo's cancer diagnosis, but resumed publication in 2022 after the author's recovery. Finally, Seven Seas Entertainment also publishes the English version of the manga, with the fifth volume released in May 2024.
