Assassination Classroom Celebrates 10 Years with Special Broadcast

Assassination Classroom ( Ansatsu Kyoushitsu anime is back to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special rebroadcast of all 47 episodes, starting in April 2025. And the good news doesn't stop there: the celebration includes new opening (OP) and ending (ED) songs, marking the first of three "missions" planned for this very special milestone.

The new opening theme, titled "Kiiro Shingo" ("Beware"), will be performed by Sora Tomonari. The ending theme, "Tsuki no Fune" ("Moon Ship"), will be performed by artist ATARAYO. Both artists expressed their excitement about participating in this significant project.

Sora Tomonari , a self-proclaimed fan of the series, shared: “ Assassination Classroom Jump series growing up. When I received the invitation, I was incredibly happy. As a proud graduate of Class 3-E and an admirer of Koro-sensei, it’s an honor to contribute to this special series through music.”

ATARAYO also didn't hide her emotion: "Ever since I was a student, I've loved Assassination Classroom . I followed both the manga and the anime, and it became an important part of my youth. I'm very honored to be a part of it in this way. Tsuki no Fune is a song that portrays a person's growth and inner strength, and I hope everyone enjoys listening to it while watching the anime."

About Assassination Classroom

Created by Yusei Matsui, the same author of The Elusive Samurai Assassination Classroom manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between July 2012 and March 2016, totaling 21 volumes. The work surpassed the impressive milestone of 25 million copies in circulation in September 2016. The anime, produced by studio Lerche, premiered in January 2015 and won fans around the world with its exciting narrative and captivating characters.

In addition to the TV series, the franchise gained a film, Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days , released in November 2016, further consolidating its legacy in the anime universe.
