Assassination Classroom | Live-Action gets new features!

Assassination-live

A pamphlet and some information related to the live-action Assassination Classroom by author Yusei Matsui were released. Cinemas across Japan will begin distributing the flyer in November, but the premiere will only take place on March 21, 2015.

Eiichirō Hasumi (Umizaru films, Wild 7) is directing the film, and Tatsuya Kanazawa (Lucky Seven) is writing the script. Filming began at an abandoned elementary school in the suburbs of Japan's Kanto district on August 31, and is wrapping up in mid-October.

The story is about class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School, where every morning, they greet their sensei with a mass firing squad. The sensei is a strange combination of an alien and an octopus who moves at speeds of Mach-20. It turns out that this creature was responsible for destroying the moon, making it always crescent-shaped. He announced that he will destroy the world in 1 year. The creature will teach class 3-E how to assassinate him before the year ends.
