It was announced via the Twitter account that the second season of Assassination Classroom will arrive in 2016.

With a total of 22 episodes, the first season premiered in Japan on January 9th and ended this week in Japan.

The series takes place in Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Elementary School, where they are introduced to a very strange figure: an octopus-shaped monster who, from now on, will be their new teacher. To make matters worse, this monster was responsible for destroying much of the moon and intends to do the same to planet Earth a year from now.
