The film will be an adaptation of an album published in 1971. In it, the Roman emperor Caesar tries to conquer the village of Asterix by building a city around it. Asterix and his discreet friend Obelix fight with the help of their elixir to protect their village in Gaul.
3D animation hits cinemas in France in 2014, with no release date here in Brazil.
