Koei Tecmo , Gust , and Aniplex have announced the production of an anime based on the game Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout . According to reports, the series is scheduled to air in the summer 2023 season.

Thus, the direction is by Emma Yuzuriha at Liden Films ( Tokyo Revengers, Yofukashi no Uta ), composition by Yashichiro Takahashi , and character design by Tomoyuki Shitaya .
Synopsis:
The main character is Ryza , an ordinary girl. Tired of village life, she runs away with her friends to a secret place where they talk about their dreams and plan exciting adventures. But one day, Ryza and her companions decide to make their first exploration and head to the "island on the other shore," a forbidden destination. There they will meet an alchemist and other characters, experiencing a "summer adventure" they will never forget.
Therefore, the anime is based on the RPG developed by Gust and originally released in Japan for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows in September 2019. Furthermore, the game was released in North America in October 2019 and the rest of the world in November 2019 for the same consoles.
