AT&T Remains Determined to Sell Crunchyroll

As reported last Wednesday, August 12th, anime  Crunchyroll was offered to Sony for 1.5 billion . Today, according to Variety , the information is that T&T has already offered the streaming service to several buyers with an initial value of $1 billion.

Variety also revealed that AT&T is aware that it can get a lower price than the initial price they are offering for purchasing the service.

No company officials have commented on the sale yet. Crunchyroll launched in 2006 and was acquired by Otter Media in 2013 for approximately $100 million. In 2018, the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T.

Finally, we will closely monitor all rumors about this possible sale of Crunchyroll.
