The official website for the popular Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) series is announcing that it will be adapting two compilation films from the 2013 series.
The first, titled Shingeki no Kyojin Zenpen ~Guren no Yumiya~ (Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow), covers episodes 1 through 13 and is expected to arrive later this year. The second, Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen ~Jiyū no Tsubasa~ (Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom), covers episodes 14 through 25 and will arrive in 2015.
The new films will feature new dubbing and a remastering of the audio channels to 5.1, with the return of original cast members such as Yuuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman), and Marina Inoue (Armin Arlelt).
Hajime Isayama's work broke records with 36 million copies in circulation and inspired last year's hit series. The manga also spawned four spin-offs.
Isayama launched the series in Bessatsu Shonen magazine in 2009.
