The Japanese website “Eiga.com” and “Sanspo” released several posters for the highly anticipated live-action “ Attack on Titan ” (Shingeki no Kyojin) for the first time. The images reveal the main cast for the film.
The cast includes seven new characters for this live-action version. Film director Shinji Higuchi confirmed that the project will span two films and stated that, under Isayama's supervision, the story will be based on the world and characters from the manga, while incorporating new characters and formidable new enemies.
Yusuke Watanabe (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Gantz, Gatchaman) is writing the script. Film critic Tomohiro Machiyama, who is also a friend of Isayama's, is working on the scripts with Isayama and Watanabe.
Both films are scheduled to open next summer in Japan:
