The Japanese website “Eiga.com” and Sanspo” released first-hand several posters of the highly anticipated “live-action” of “ Attack on Titan ” (Shingeki no Kyojin). The images reveal the main cast for the film.
The cast includes seven new characters for this live-action version. Director of the films Shinji Higuchi confirmed that the project will last two films and stated that, with Isayama's supervision, the story will be based on the world along with the characters from the manga, while incorporating new characters and new formidable enemies.
Yusuke Watanabe (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Gantz, Gatchaman) is writing the script. Film critic Tomohiro Machiyama, who is also a friend of Isayama, is working together on Isayama and Watanabe's scripts.
Both films are scheduled to open next summer in Japan:
