The fourth and final season of Attack on Titan has been split several times since its release from MAPPA , but now the anime is gearing up for its final episode. As audiences wait for the episode, Masafumi Mima , the anime's sound director, shared some news about the production of Attack on Titan.

Masafumi Mima announced on his Twitter profile that sound production for the final episode of Attack on Titan is already underway. He originally worked on the anime's sound direction since its first season and continued on the project even after moving to another studio.

After Attack on Titan was passed to MAPPA, the anime's fourth season was split into three parts, with the final season being two one-hour episodes. The penultimate episode aired in March, while the final one is scheduled for the last quarter of 2023.

Synopsis: 

Humans encountered Titans in Shiganshina District after years of peace. However, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin witnessed the appearance of the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan, which breached Wall Maria. The Titans invaded the city and wreaked havoc, killing several people, including Eren's mother, who was devoured before her son's eyes. Eren then decided to take revenge on all the Titans by joining the Survey Corps.

Therefore, Hajime Isayama launched the manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine , published by Kodansha in 2009, ending in April 2021. In addition, the 34th and final volume was published in June 2021.
