Attack on Titan – Director begins production of the final episode of the anime

The fourth and final season of Attack on Titan has been split several times since it arrived at studio MAPPA , but now the anime is preparing for its final episode. While the audience waits for the episode, Masafumi Mima , the anime's sound director, brought some news about the production of Attack on Titan.

Masafumi Mima announced on her Twitter profile that sound production for the final episode of Attack on Titan is already underway. Originally, he worked on the anime's sound direction since its first season and continued on the project even after moving to another studio.

After Attack on Titan was passed to studio MAPPA, the fourth season of the anime was divided into 3 parts, with the last one being two one-hour episodes. The penultimate episode aired in March, while the last one is scheduled for the last quarter of 2023.

Synopsis:

Humans encountered Titans in Shiganshina District after years of peace. However, Eren, Mikasa and Armin, witness the appearance of the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan, who open a breach in Wall Maria. Thus, the Titans invade the city and wreak havoc, killing several people, including Eren's mother, who is devoured before her son's eyes. Eren then decides to take revenge on all the Titans by joining the Exploration Division.

Therefore, Hajime Isayama launched the manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine , from publisher Kodansha in 2009, ending in April 2021. Furthermore, the 34th and final volume was published in June 2021.
