Volume 11 of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is the first in the series to rank #1 in manga sales for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, the limited edition of the same volume ranked in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks. The series as a whole has over 20 million copies in print.
Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan ) spinoff manga has just gained a new author. The story will be written by Satoshi Shiki (Kamikaze, Riot) and artist Thores Shibamoto (Trinity Blood). Shiki, who had already said at the beginning of the month that he would not have a day off, will finish his XBlade manga, to start a new series soon. Shingeki no Kyojin: Before the Fall will be released in the October issue of Monthly Shonen Sirius , which hits newsstands on October 26th. The plot is parallel and will take place within the world of Shigeki no Kyojin.
The plot suggests a new manga where we will learn about the history of humanity before its almost total decline. We will be able to see the beginning of the arrival of the Titans, the creation of the weapons used by them (humans) today and the formation of the walls. Maybe we’ll even learn about Eren Jeager’s father’s “secret.”
