The final episodes that conclude the saga of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) will be remastered for the theatrical release. Therefore, in this version, according to director Yuichiro Hayashi, THE FINAL CHAPTERS was created with the intention of being viewed as a single film.

The premiere of “Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATTACK” will take place on November 8, 2024 in Japanese cinemas. The 145-minute film adapts THE FINAL CHAPTERS with visual enhancements and 5.1 surround sound.

Therefore, the final seasons of the anime premiered on NHK in December 2020, with 16 episodes. Part 2 premiered with episode 76 on NHK General on January 9th and aired a total of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the second part simultaneously with its broadcast in Japan.
