The “live-action” Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) topped sales in cinemas in its country of origin, winning first place on its debut. The film grossed approximately 600 million yen (Local Currency) from a total of 467,000 viewers.
The second film in the series, titled “ Shingeki no Kyojin: Jiyuu no Tsubasa “, is scheduled for release in Japan on September 18th.
