Live-Action of Attack on Titan gets 2 films!

It was announced by director Shinji Higuchi that the long-awaited Live-Action adaptation of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) will have exactly two films, with the premiere scheduled to take place next summer in Japan. The films are being filmed in the prefecture of Nagasaki and the island of Hashima.

Higuchi stated that , while the films are being closely monitored by manga creator Hajime Isayama , the story will be based on the created world . Yusuke Watanabe ( Dragon Ball Z : Battle of Gods , live-action Gantz , Gatchaman) is writing the entire script for the feature. Film critic Tomohiro Machiyama , who is also a friend of Isayama , is working on the scripts .

Shingeki no Kyojin Manga depicts the battles between humans and the giants that now rule the outside world beyond the walls.
