The long-awaited sequel to The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra has finally gotten some news. Paramount has released the first official image from Avatar: Seven Havens , a new animated film that will further expand the universe created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino.
- Vinland Saga comes to an end after a 20-year journey
- What to expect from episode 3 of the Gachiakuta anime?
Unlike previous stories, Seven Havens delves into a post-catastrophe world, filled with ruins and mysticism. The story follows a young earthbender , recently revealed as Korra's successor, the Avatar. However, instead of being seen as a savior , the protagonist is seen as humanity's destroyer , which puts her in the crosshairs of both human and spiritual threats.
While fleeing those who pursue her, the young Avatar sets out on a journey alongside her twin sister. Together, they must unravel their enigmatic pasts and protect the Seven Refuges —the last remaining strongholds of civilization. If they fail, the entire world could fall into oblivion.
The series will feature two seasons , each with 13 episodes , promising to expand the franchise's legacy with new characters, conflicts and challenges that go far beyond bending the elements.
While expectations are high, there's still no official release date. However, the first image already hints at a different look, signaling important changes for fans of the franchise.
