Azur Lane is a Chinese game that many consider to be quite similar to Kantai Collection, and perhaps that's the reason behind its success. The first season of Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! premiered in January 2021. Hori launched the manga in April 2018, and it is being serialized on the franchise's official Twitter account and on Ichijinsha's Azur Lane website.
