The technical team of the anime Banished From The Heroes' Party (Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party o Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita) announced this Monday that a second season of the same has been confirmed.
The artist of the manga adaptation, Masahiro Ikeno, and several members of the technical team posted messages celebrating the news:
Synopsis
The plot revolves around Red, a boy with incredible powers who, for some reason, was rejected from the team of heroes prepared to save the world. Upon receiving the news, he decides to go far away and lead a peaceful life.
Makoto Hoshino (DamePri Anime Caravan, KING'S RAID: Successors of the Will) directed the first season at Wolfsbane studio and Flad studio. Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, KING'S RAID: Successors of the Will) was responsible for the series' scripts. Ruriko Watanabe (KutsuDaru., DamePri Anime Caravan) designed the characters.
Funimation streamed the first season when it aired in Japan in fall 2021. (The show's staff delayed the anime from July to October of that year due to "various circumstances.") Crunchyroll is now therefore in charge of the broadcast.
Zappon therefore began serializing Banished From The Heroes' Party on the website “ Shousetsuka ni Narou ” in October 2017, where it still continues. Kadokawa began publishing the story in print with illustrations by Yasumo starting with the first volume in June 2018. Masahiro Ikeno launched a manga adaptation of the novels in Kadokawa's Monthly Shounen Ace magazine in May 2018. As such, the franchise has more 2.2 million copies in circulation.
