TV Fuji revealed that the Baseball novel titled Battery has been adapted into an anime and is arriving on the Noitamina block. Tomomi Mochizuki to direct the series with a script by Zero-G (Hyper Speed GranDoll)
The light novels revolve around Takumi Harada, a young man who moves to a city in Okayama Prefecture during spring break. Before he enters school, due to his father's job transfer, Takumi loses faith in his own talent when suddenly his classmate Kō Nagakura appears in front of him. Kō has a strong desire to form a “battery” (the combination of a pitcher and a catcher) with Takumi.
