Fuji TV has revealed that the baseball novel titled Battery has been adapted into an anime and will air on the Noitamina block. Tomomi Mochizuki will direct the series, with a script by Zero-G (Hyper Speed GranDoll).
The light novels revolve around Takumi Harada, a young man who moves to a town in Okayama Prefecture during spring break. Before he even enters school, due to his father's job transfer, Takumi loses faith in his own talent, when suddenly his classmate Kō Nagakura appears before him. Kō has a strong desire to form a "battery" (a combination of a pitcher and a catcher) with Takumi.
