Battlefield 4 runs on the new Frostbite 3 at 60 frames per second on next-gen consoles. In the game, set in 2020, players will control Recker, a member of the Tombstone team, a mercenary group with vital military information. Recker and his companions Dunn, Irish and Pac flee from Russians in Azerbaijan when their helicopter crashes. Their pursuers are under the orders of Admiral Cheng, the plot's antagonist.
There will be three nations present in the game: the United States, Russia and China. The producer promises more realistic graphics, detailed features, as well as more believable fog, smoke and fire effects. The title will bring new game modes, focusing on naval battles and Commander Mode, which shows a map seen from above. The player will be able to manage supplies and check air attacks and equipment as if it were a strategy game, but in the form of a minigame or infographic.
Battlefield 4, which will have a Brazilian version dubbed into Portuguese by Dan Stulbach and André Ramiro, arrives on October 29th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has not yet been confirmed.
