The scheduled release date for the 2nd season of the Beastars anime has finally been defined, scheduled for January 2021 . The anime will be shown again on Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block.
Synopsis
In a school where students are literally divided into predators and prey, it is personal relationships that keep the fragile peace. Who among them is a Beastar – an academic and social role model destined to become a leader in a society naturally filled with distrust? Last night at Cherryton Academy, a herbivore student was killed and eaten. Among the drama club members, suspicions of the herbivores naturally turn to their fellow carnivores... The prime suspect? Legoshi, a big wolf. But he wouldn't hurt a fly – or would he? And will the dwarf rabbit Haru bring out the beast in him? Or are his feelings for her... something else?
The first season of Beastars premiered on Netflix Japan on October 8 and premiered on Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block and Nishinippon TV last October. The season then premiered on Netflix (outside Japan) on March 13th.
