This Friday (23), the official website for the anime Betrothed to My Sister's Ex ( Zutaboro Reijō wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai Sareru ) had its official release date revealed. In addition, fans can see a new visual and trailer for the anime.

The release of Betrothed to My Sister's Ex ( Zutaboro Reijō wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai Sareru ) will take place on July 4, 2025, with animation by Studio Landock.

Synopsis:

Marie, the youngest daughter of an impoverished baron, lives treated like a servant by her parents and wears simple, worn-out clothes. Despite this, she maintains a kind heart and is devoted to her family. At a birthday party organized for her, the true star is her older sister, Anastasia, who is treated like a princess. Sad, Marie leaves the party and happens to meet the wealthy Count Kyros Granado. The Count falls in love with Marie at first sight, but due to a misunderstanding, he ends up proposing to Anastasia. The situation progresses rapidly, but tragedy strikes the family when Anastasia suffers a fatal accident. As a result, Marie is chosen to marry in her sister's place. Thus begins the journey of Marie, the neglected young woman, in her Cinderella story marked by twists and turns and misunderstandings!
