Shiden Kanzaki 's Black Bullet anime adaptation has released the second promotional video. The video features the opening theme song “Black Bullet” performed by fripside. The anime will premiere on April 9th.
The story of Black Bullet revolves around high school student Rentaro, a young man who has a mysterious superior ability in an era of humans fighting the Gastrea, a race of viral parasites. The story describes Rentaro's actions in the not-too-distant future.
The animation studio is Kinema Citrus, the director is Masayuki Kojima (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, The Piano Forest), and the character design is by Chiho Umishima.
Kanzaki began releasing the story in 2011 with illustrations by Saki Ukai and the sixth volume of the novel was released in October.
