This year's 25th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed a fourth key visual on Monday (20) for the Black Clover anime. The visual is for the new arc in the anime , which will feature a major battle of humans versus elves .
The anime premiered in Japan in October 2017. The show was originally listed as having 51 episodes, but continued into a new season with episode 52 last October.
The story revolves around Asta, a young man who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. There's just one problem—he can't use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover that grants him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can't use magic truly become the Wizard King? One thing is certain—Asta will never give up!
Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume, Yatterman Night, Muromi-san, Long Riders!) is directing the anime at Studio Pierrot. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the Order a Rabbit?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is handling the series script. Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E, Blue Drop) is the character designer, and Kumiko Tokunaga (Kingdom season 2) is the sub-character designer. Minako Seki (The Silver Guardian, both Kingdom seasons) is composing the music. Seiko Ōmori is performing the current opening theme song "JUSTadICE," and THE CHARM PARK is performing the current ending theme song "Hana ga Saku Michi" (The Path of Blooming Flowers).
